I need a way to make the parent (top level) menu item simultaneous open the accordion and load the page that it links to. Current, I can get the accordion to either (1) Open with Hover and then load content when clicked or (2) open accordion when clicked but not load content (article).

I know Joomla's menu system does this without this module. You can make menus that both load the page on a click event and opens up the submenu items. I have tried just about every conceivable parameter setting in the SBD accordion menu, and cannot find a way that will achieve this? Is this impossible? Can a single click both Open the Accordion Subcategories and link to a new page?

If it cannot be done using the parameters / without a custom hack, then I will probably abandon it on this project and try the extended_menu module and CSS suckerfish tactics instead.

Apologise for the delay, by default this is not possile as the code prevents this. However it is possible to alter one of the checks within the code at around line 482.
