TOPIC: question about the new version!?

Re:question about the new version!? 2 Years ago Karma: 14
Welcome back

Are both menus using the exact same menus? The menu will only open if the itemid of is the same as that of a menu - and in Joomla two menus with a link to the same location creates two different itemids, unique to the menu item.

Also to memory the code also currently can only call one menu refence within the javascript.

Do you have a link we can look at?

yeah better look - www.himmania.com

and i think i was copied the second menu from the header one. So the settings are the same just changed the menu link.

And do planing to release 3rd level menu item. I mean - click on level 2 and then open level 3, no like now when you click level 1 and its shows you level 2 and 3 together!

Thanks

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. We have looked at your site, the issue is a conflict between the two instances of the menu. The first is running the correct code to open the menu of the second menu, however the second instance is not behaving quite the same as the original menu and running the wrong itemid which overrides that of the first menu.

Unfortunately this needs a little looking into, so please bare with us and hopefully we will have a fix out shortly - then hopefully you will be willing to test it.

As to opening a third level, this menu unfortunately was never designed to go further and the few attempts to make it so have yielded unsatisfactory results. We have however been playing with code for another accordion menu, but it is still very rough and under development but will offer expanding menus below the top level

Many Thanks

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, can you please try one thing and let me know if it affects the menu please. Assuming your running the latest version please can you set the module option 'Use Cookies' to No.

Please let me know if there is any change.
