SBD Article Header Module

Introducing our latest and extremely small module, its a very simple and basic module that displays an Articles Title in a header tag. Being a module it can be placed anywhere on your template, very handy if you would like the page/article title to be placed at the top of the web page and have a menu or images in between the title and content.

Mostly likely best used when turning off the articles own title option. It allows the use of custom CSS and places a CSS class tag within the header.

You may choose from any of the header tags available within HTML, 1 to 5.

Mambot Update: SBD 301 Redirect

Its been a while coming but there have been a few added options to our very simple content 301 redirect mambot, upon initial release all the mambot could cope with was a full URL. We have extended its options and it can now deal with the following extras:

Joomla Articles
Joomla Sections
Joomla Categories

All you need to pass to the mambot are the relevant ID's, anther added feature is the ability to pass a relative URL, the mambot will then add the sites live url.

New Mambot: SBD Content Relevance Search Bot

We are pleased to annouce we have just released an enhance search mambot for Joomla. The mambot returns searchs based upon relevance to the search keywords used by the user. It searchs content and static content (both linked to menus and unlinked) and obeys standard user access to articles and to whether the section or category is published.

You are able to limit what is returned by the mambot by excluding sections, categories and individual articles from being returned by the search.

Note: this search mambot does require some SQL to be performed upon your Joomla database to work. 

New Mambot: SBD 301 Redirect

During the process of altering another of our mambots SBD Tigra Tables and deciding to rename it after adding extra functionality, we thought it better to create a new page (even though virtually the same) for the new mambot. And for SEO and search engine reasons not just delete/rename the old article.

So our solution was to create an extremely small mambot to simply put a 301 Redirect on any page it is called, its sole parameter is the link to the new page and then redirects to the new page at PHP level, so as long as no HTML has been written to the browser it works flawlessly and because it is using PHP rather the HTML to redirect you are not possibly penalised by a search engine  thinking that you are one of those SPAM sites that redirects you other pages etc....
